These Terms govern your use of ChartLists.com. By accessing or using the site, you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, don’t use the site. Simple, boring, legally necessary.

1) What this site is (and isn’t)

• It is: a chart discovery / scanning tool using EOD data and basic derived metrics.
• It is not: a real-time feed, a brokerage, a research report, or a guarantee of accuracy.
• It is not: affiliated with Yahoo Finance, TradingView, or any exchange.

2) Data and accuracy

Charts and metrics are generated from third-party data sources (commonly Yahoo Finance via yfinance). Third-party data can be delayed, incomplete, missing fields, or inaccurate. We do not guarantee correctness, completeness, timeliness, or suitability of any information on the site.

3) Your responsibility

• You are solely responsible for how you use the site and any decisions you make.
• You agree to validate prices, corporate actions, fundamentals, and any signals using reliable sources.
• You agree not to rely on ChartLists as your only source for any investment decision.

4) Permitted personal use

You may browse the site and use it for personal, non-commercial purposes, subject to these Terms.

5) Prohibited use (don’t do these)

• No systematic scraping or automated extraction to clone the service or rebuild databases.
• No re-publishing of charts/metrics/rankings as a competing product or paid service.
• No reverse engineering of non-public logic, endpoints, or system behavior intended to be private.
• No abuse (attacks, excessive requests, interference with stability/availability).
• No misleading attribution (you can reference the site, but don’t present outputs as official market data).

6) Intellectual property

The site design, UI, layout, branding, and proprietary calculations (where applicable) are owned by ChartLists / RRALists and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Third-party trademarks and data remain the property of their respective owners.

7) Availability and changes

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the site (or any feature) at any time without notice. We may also update these Terms from time to time; continued use means you accept the updated Terms.

8) Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ChartLists / RRALists and its owner are not liable for any losses, damages, or claims arising from your use of the site, including trading losses, missed opportunities, or reliance on inaccurate third-party data. Use at your own risk.
